SchoolTool 2006 will provide the following basic functionality via a web browser interface:

• enrollment;
• "manual" timetable creation;
• contact and demographic information;
  
• attendance;
• gradebook;
• report generation;
• data import/export.

As of November 2006, much of the above functionality is implemented, but still needs significant work to complete, integrate, deploy and test the application. This is primarily being done in close partnerships with three schools in Belgium and Lithuania.

At this point, our focus is on creating working versions for these partners. Once we've achieved that, we'll return to the process of creating broad public releases. All this work is available via our subversion repository, and we still welcome outside developers and collaboration.
