Project Description

SchoolBell
Project resources

SchoolBell is useful for publishing calendars and sharing resources in organizations like churches, extended families or small businesses.

SchoolBell allows you to create people, groups of people, and resources, such as rooms, computers or projectors. Each of these objects has its own calendar which can be viewed and/or edited by other users, depending on how access is set by the site administrator.

SchoolBell interoperates with desktop calendar clients using the iCal format and news aggregators using Atom 0.3 syndication.

It is important to note that while SchoolTool Calendar has been successfully used in small production deployments, it is not being actively developed. The SchoolBell functionality will continue as part of the much larger and substantially re-designed SchoolTool student information system currently under development.
